My first post over I wanted to keep it going. I live, work and spend most of my time in Western New York. So most of my subjects are in and around that area.
On the drive into work each day I pass by Buffalo’s Delaware Park. Living in an urban area having 350 acres of green space is an often overlooked asset.
I arrive to work a little before 7:00am five days a week. During this time of year that allows me to take a couple of minutes and with some luck catch a glimpse of the morning sunrise. Later in the year I can catch the sunset on my way home. Short winter days do have a plus.
I just purchased a Fujifilm x100s so I took the opportunity to test it out on a couple of mornings over the past week.
Like just about everyone else I am always in a rush. Taking a couple of minutes in the morning to read the paper has long ago ceased. It seems I am in a hurry to get to my next destination.
But taking a couple of minutes to slow down, walk along the morning waters and you might be surprised by what you see.
All photos were taken with my Fujifilm x100s. Exif data is available by clicking on the photos (takes you to my 500.px site)
